While other organizations are hard at work creating fabulous Inaugural events for adults, Teens Count is keeping it FLY for the TEENS ? Teens Count School Fashion Battle 2011, happening Saturday, January 22nd DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.
Twelve metropolitan area high schools (DC, MD, VA) will battle it out on the runway for a grand prize of $2,000 and trip to New York! Don?t miss the BIGGEST BATTLE TO HIT THE DMV ? as teams present their DRAMATIC FUSION OF FASHION AND THEATRE! Over 800 students have been hard at work creatively developing and choreographing their scenes after being involved in a 4-month extracurricular activity where having fun, building positive self image, learning to communicate effectively with others and positive thinking are cornerstones to the entire program experience.

2nd Annual "Kids On Course" Golf Tournament

The Women’s Board of the American Heart Association Greater Washington Region hosts the 61st Annual "An Affair of the Heart" luncheon and fashion show to benefit heart research and education. The Women’s Board’s Luncheon is the oldest continuous fundraising event of any nationally recognized non-profit group. The chairpersons this year are Mrs. J. Montgomery Gingery and Mrs. David Kay.
Rizik's of Washington, DC proudly supports The Women’s Board of the American Heart Association and the 2009 Affair of the Heart Luncheon on January 30, 2009. Rizik’s will present fashions from the best of American and European designers including Melinda Eng, Valentino Roma, and Hugo Boss.
